Our material
Our material is 0% petrol! 0% glue!
It is made exclusively of plants and minerals. We have selected an innovative material for you, PLA (Polylactic Acid), developed through research for a new, more sustainable kind of chemistry: GREEN CHEMISTRY. Our base component is starch extracted from corn or wheat, which is then processed using bacteria. A mineral filler is added to the resulting paste to make it stronger.
With us, no more petrol-based plastic…
Did you know that regular plastic items like dishes pose a big problem? When they get hot, they can release potentially toxic substances into your food. Our material, being petrol-free, is a real alternative and totally safe. Made from plants, it’s naturally biodegradable and won’t poison you.
Thanks to the intrinsic qualities of our material, our tableware is lightweight and hardwearing. It also performs well when exposed to heat: We have developed a process that allows it to be used in the microwave and dishwasher. You can take it anywhere and use it with ease for as long as you like. It is also stain-resistant: tomatoes and curry don’t stand a chance! However, like most tableware, it is sensitive to sharp knife blades.
The choice of this material for our products is no coincidence!
Economical, renewable, and energy-efficient
Even though our material is renewable, that doesn’t mean we should waste it. So we design our products with a focus on balancing weight and functionality.

Don’t use more material than you need. Our plant-based material only needs a low temperature to be processed.

To be energy-efficient and produce locally to minimize our carbon footprint as much as possible.
Biodegradable and eco-friendly.
Without realising it, through your food and the air you breathe, you’re already taking in the equivalent of 5 grams of petrol-based plastic in the form of microplastics every week.
Our commitment #3: To offer you a product without a trace of … petrol, and which, even if it got lost out in nature (though that’s not the goal!), could be broken down by it over a human lifetime without affecting biodiversity.
It’s recyclable, so don’t throw it away!
Our tableware can be easily recycled without significant energy consumption. It just needs to be collected.
Our commitment #4: to offer you products that won’t end up in
landfill. If you entrust them to us by making a small civic gesture (see the ECO-RESPONSIBLE RETURN section), we will then recycle them.
Biodegradable in industrial settings, meaning ‘Zero Waste’
PLA is a 100% bio-based material that can be returned to nature without any impact through INDUSTRIAL composting. Finely ground and placed in the right environment, it turns back into water, carbon, and biomass in 3 to 6 months. Unlike items that are only recyclable, it’s not waste in the end.
Our commitment #5: To offer you products that won’t end up as ultimate waste. If our material isn’t recycled, we can return it to nature.without harming it.
So it’s really important, for us, for you, and for the planet, that our items get recycled!

A respectable material that you will never throw in the trash..
Although plant-based, our tableware is by no means “disposable.” It is designed to last and is already intended for a second life. Use it for as long as possible, but when the time comes that you no longer need it and wish to part with it, then think ECO-RESPONSIBILITY and do a simple good deed for the planet: send it back to us!
